EV Customer Solutions Advisor at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in San Diego, California

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the site acquisition and customer on-boarding process for applicable EV charging infrastructure and transportation electrification advisory services programs


• Lead the sales and customer engagement process to generate leads, establish book-of-business across all eligible customer segments and secure program participation.


• Project manage sites throughout the program life cycle with the customer and communicate status and program requirements.


• Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with internal departments, key stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and channel partners to define project requirements, assess alternatives and present customer solutions to accelerate adoption of transportation electrification in the region

Responsibilities/Duties


50% Customer Engagement/Sales/Customer Relationship Management:

• Educate customers on all aspects of clean transportation programs portfolio, including available EV charging infrastructure programs and advisory services

• Develop and present customized presentations to support sales and site recruitment to site hosts and respond to all customer program inquiries.


• Lead the sales and customer/site host engagement process to generate leads, establish book-of-business across all eligible customer segments and secure program participation.


• Lead and manage the site acquisition/customer on-boarding process (determine project eligibility, conduct site screening, lead site walk technical team, desktop review, preliminary design, agreement/easement negotiations, when applicable).


• Understand regulatory and political landscape and requirements for Clean Transportation programs.


• Responsible for individual program/segment goals.

30% Project Management:

• Present, communicate & manage customer expectations & experience on all activities leading to successful completion.


• Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.


• Coordinate input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objective.


• Convey time-sensitive project schedule concerns related to charging infrastructure installation.


• Project tracking and reporting, develop project schedule milestones for book-of-business.


• Report on project status, and secure customer commitments to meet program and project completion schedules.

15% Outreach/Program Promotion:

• Represent all clean transportation portfolio offerings in sales & marketing opportunities with potential customers and other relevant channel partners.


• Participate in outreach events, develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations on clean transportation program offerings to externally facing audience.

5% Perform Other Duties As Assigned

• Document all relevant program processes and procedures for program compliance.

• Implement lesson learned from statewide IOUs & previous transportation electrification programs.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering or equivalent is required.


• 3-5 years related experience or equivalent experience/training required.


• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to make persuasive presentations


• Possess strong customer service skills


• Previous experience in customer services, account management, and/or sales experience is desirable


• Knowledgeable about EVs and EVSE for end-use applications is highly desirable


• Requires effective account management skills and experience.


• Proficient project management skills is desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Must have a valid CA Driver's License.


• Loading & unloading, set-up & tear-down of outreach booth & related outreach components are necessary. Long periods of standing at these events is required.
