Schedule: Full-time


Rate of Pay: $24.18 (Hourly rate of $19.20 plus $4.98 p/hr Fringe Pay)

Day-To-Day

  • Monitors the residential staff within the facility for daily performance and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Assigns shift duties to Residential Monitors and maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
  • Ensures facility maintenance and monitor client housekeeping assignments.
  • Observes client behavior and report abnormal behavior to supervisor in a timely manner and in a manner consistent with the situation.
  • Obtains UA's and BA's to monitor client substance use.
  • Makes periodic tours of the facility and its grounds, monitoring number of clients in facility, their activities and activities of visitors.
  • Maintains and audits client sign in/out folders, medication logs, and visitor logs; submits written report to Facility Director outlining deficiencies.
  • Controls contraband in facility through observations, general pat searches, and room searches and documents all deficiencies.
  • Monitors the documentation of all disciplinary action to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  • Monitors the self-administration of all medication to clients and document the activity, and conducts unannounced audits of medication log sheets.
  • Performs partial intakes on new or transferred clients, issue keys, linen, lock, and bed. Ensure property inventory is conducted on all new arrivals.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Valid Texas Drivers' License, clear MVR and ability to be insured required.
