Job Description:

MP Systems is hiring a Division Manager in East Troy to build and manage a fully functioning drilling and foundations team serving the Wisconsin and surrounding Midwest areas. As Division Manager, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a growing, multi-million-dollar branch and will conduct business in accordance with PPC and MP Systems, Inc.'s mission and vision statements.


Responsibilities:


  • Prospect for leads continually.

  • Have backlog to cover your plan at all times. Provide budgets, estimate proposals, and relationship-building networks to achieve minimum yearly sales growth standards.

  • Develop annual sales plans inclusive of revenue budget targets

  • Achieve, at minimum, the budgeted net profit in the annual budget
    Perform estimating and bidding on customer and construction work within geographic operations and
    corporate guidelines

  • Clear all estimates and bids in excess of your authority level with the COO and refer with recommendation all contracts or purchase orders in excess of your authority level for signature.

  • Survey all customers as jobs are complete. Achieve a minimum rating of 8.5 out of 10 with a goal of 9.2 and respond to all comments for process improvement.Forecast what is to be done on a week-to-week basis, when, and by whom.

  • Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximize efficiency. Develop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervision.

  • Complete one- and three-year plans. Assist in developing the company's one- and three-year plans

  • Facilitate decisions that are made on a weekly basis to determine what will be done and by whom. Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximum efficiency.

  • Develop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervision.

  • Assist in interviewing & hiring prospective employees. Manage employee job performance. Complete performance appraisals timely. Counsel, discipline, and terminate as necessary and in accordance with company policies.

  • Participate in employee continuing education in house or through outside programs.

  • Provide for the development of direct reports through: development plans, monitoring and coaching performance, feedback and growth opportunities. Ensure that you are developing at least one succession candidate for your role.

  • Access your own development needs and plan with your supervisor for incorporation into your development plan. Always be growing and improving both yourself and your team.

  • Provide on-the-job and classroom opportunities for skill and knowledge enhancement for all Branch employees.

  • In partnership with HR develop workforce plans to hire new prospective employees. Perform appraisals for all managers and office employees reporting to you.

  • Participate in employee continuing education in house or through outside programs.

  • Counsel and, when needed, terminate unsatisfactory or unneeded employees.

  • Facilitate an annual employee survey in your area

  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with union personnel.
