Onsite in Chandler, AZ


Skillset:

• Hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility, including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.


• High School diploma or GED equivalent.


• Over three years of relevant work experience, including supervisory roles.


• Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.


• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs (or within 90 days of employment).


• Proficient in computer applications like Word and Excel.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Plan electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance.


• Supervise maintenance staff, monitor performance, and ensure efficient service request completion.


• Train and enhance operations staff capabilities in maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting.


• Implement and manage the preventive maintenance program, scheduling tasks with minimal disruption.


• Oversee contracted maintenance work, ensuring timely completion and warranty fulfillment.


• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems, including fire/life safety, HVAC, electrical, and emergency backups.


• Ensure compliance with hazardous materials storage and disposal policies.


• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, submit purchase orders, and source stock materials.


• Oversee contractor activities and maintain records of building rounds and readings.


• Train contractors on critical functions and incident response protocols.


• Participate in incident investigations and understand emergency escalation procedures.


• Ensure familiarity with the Critical Facility Work Authorization process.
