Program Details & Summary: We are seeking a Systems SW Support Engineer with a TS/SCI to provide mission application support for training and active missions for the Air Force DCGS Weapon System.
Minimum LCAT Requirements -
Certifications: Security+, CASP, or CISSP (IAT II)
Education: Bachelor's
Year's of Experience: 9+ years of engineering with 5+ years supporting ISR WS
Required Technology Skills:
AF Weapons Systems Experience (DCGS, ISR, GEOINT, SIGINT, and/or ELINT, etc)
Expertise with cybersecurity administration
Ability to monitor, administer, and troubleshoot Solaris and Linux, with some Windows OS exposure
Familiarity with VMware administration including containers, storage, and resources for future cloud-based hosting
Day to day responsibilities:
Manages multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at a Core site
Operates and interfaces with multiple aircraft, airborne sensors, sites, networks, systems, and operations and maintenance personnel
Provides updates to maintenance Technician position processes
Provides sensor troubleshooting and airborne fault resolution; identifies, resolves, and communicates issues with infrastructure, enterprise services, other SIGINT systems; support and recommend updates to SIGINT systems, SW, and networks
Provide technical and engineering support for sensors and networks
Creates, updates, and responds to Incident tickets
Manages data encryption changes and implementation
Monitors the SIGINT system and networks health/status (Sensor, platform, network paths to include crypto, DCGS SIGINT systems, and SIGINT related enterprise services)
Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the SIGINT systems and networks associated with ground components and End-to-End network paths/DSFS systems
Provides SIGINT and networks sustainment support during system upgrades
Monitors the networks connections between the SIGINT sensors and ground equipment
Coordinates efforts for sensor/system and network restoral
Provides SIGINT process and network improvements/recommendation
Additional Details: This is a 24×7 environment that is critical to the continued excellence of the Warfighter. As such, you may be called upon to work various shifts throughout the year to potentially include nights/weekends as you progress to active mission support. A typical work week usually utilizes a 4-3 or Panama schedule.
