Position Overview: The Asset Admin will assist Operations and Maintenance Management in ensuring compliance with Martin Marietta standards and reporting requirements. This role involves providing third-party systems support, managing maintenance documentation, and optimizing equipment efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, this position will be responsible for administrative tasks including updating fixed asset locations and conducting asset tag site audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Maintenance Managers in driving compliance with Martin Marietta standards and reporting requirements.
Provide third-party systems support for plant, production, and equipment management, including oil sampling, Fuel Master, telemetry, and online OEM parts/ service support.
Cross-training with other department functions as needed.
Manage company maintenance documentation and provide scheduled reporting.
Monitor PM service and repair work orders, updating status as needed.
Maintain and enhance component tracking in the maintenance records database.
Update hour meters as required.
Create asset numbers, including model work orders and PM schedules.
Remove PM services for assets being processed for disposal, surplus, or non-active status.
Collaborate with field personnel to update fixed asset locations and parent/child relationships as needed.
Verify updates have been completed in the primary system (JDE).
Correct asset information when necessary.
Conduct asset tag site audits.
Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance planning and asset management.
Valid unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in third-party systems support and maintenance documentation.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with JDE or similar systems is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
This position may require occasional local travel to various plant locations.
The role involves both office-based tasks and on-site asset management activities.
