Job Description Summary:

PayPal is seeking a Global Finance Transformation Director to join the Corporate Finance team, The position is part of the Finance Enablement, Control and Transformation (FECT) team. The Finance Transformation team will be responsible for working directly with all areas of the Finance Organization, internal business units, product, and finance groups to develop and deliver a multi-year transformation roadmap. You will lead, design, and deploy finance transformation programs with a focus on Record to Report, Sub-ledger and Management Reporting processes . You'll provide strategic and operational thought leadership, influence stakeholders, and drive change throughout the organization.



Job Description:



Finance transformation director will be responsible for:
1. Create and maintain an ongoing process that identifies transformational priorities. This includes managing the decision governance process for process, system design, resource requirements and resource allocations to transformational priorities.
2. Partner closely with senior leaders across the Finance organization to fully align with needs, develop the strategic transformation roadmap and establish governance that will help scale our business and support growth opportunities
3. Partner with leaders to prioritize programs, assess opportunities, and ensure resourcing.
4. Collaborate with process owners to define best practices, connect end to end process flows, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Engineering on solutions and support Finance teams in developing and deploying new tools and processes
5. Create a culture of accountability to ensure the implementation of the scope, budget, schedule, and quality of transformational priorities.
6. Consider the dependencies for change management by providing resources and creating confidence in the organization's ability to successfully manage change.
7. Accountability for realizing value from implementing both quick wins and mid/longer term initiatives.
8. Leading and managing detailed, well formulated transformative project work.
9. Experience leading the complete Record to Report, Subledger and Management Reporting processes
10. Partner with stakeholders including finance, accounting, engineering, and business units to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.
11. Demonstrated understanding of ERP systems (such as SAP S/4 Hana, SAP FPSL/Bank Analyzer, BW4HANA)
12. Experience leading multiple, cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements, designing, implementing, and testing processes and controls for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation projects
This position will set and socialize a clear vision for the future state operating model and governance for transformational decisions that impact finance. The position will drive integration decisions among both business and functional stakeholders by partnering with business leaders, functional and technology leaders.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$118700 to $246290
