Accountabilities:

Join us in creating a support system for students pursuing nationally competitive fellowships, scholarships, and grants!
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth administration and tracking of nominations and applications. Your efforts will help foster student growth throughout the grant and fellowship process.You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with faculty and administrators, guiding them in identifying qualified candidates and advising students on crafting recommendation letters. Additionally, you'll explore and promote new fellowship opportunities, raising awareness of these valuable resources and celebrating inspiring student success stories across our community.Your outreach and promotion initiatives will ensure that all students are informed about fellowship opportunities, making these pathways accessible to everyone. You'll also engage with sponsoring entities to create productive partnerships.As part of your responsibilities, you'll plan and execute exciting events and functions, and keep our program communications fresh and engaging through website maintenance, newsletters, posters, invitations, social media, and more.


Professional Experience/ Qualifications:



  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team

  • Experience in organizing and managing multiple projects and tasks at once

  • A focus on service, including a positive attitude, follow-through, and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in learning new skills and taking on new tasks

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with office tools like Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar) and/or Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Skill in interacting respectfully with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students


Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, or a combination of education and experience (4 years) from which comparable skills are attained.
