Employees in this classification provide patient care management to an assigned clinic in the areas of clerical and clinical duties. In clinical setting, the employee receives direct supervision from physician or nursing supervisor in either oral or written form. In office setting, the employee receives direct supervision from department administrator. Work is performed under usual office and clinic conditions. May be stressful when working under emergency conditions. This position must supervised by a Registered Nurse.

Major/Essential Functions
Takes accurate vital signs and intake information from patients at each appointments and documents information accurately and timely.
Attends staff meetings, and completes annual competencies.
Maintain inventory.
Willingness to float to other clinics in need.
Assist nursing and providers with all needs that encompass scope of practice.
Report to nursing and providers needs of patients.
Assist RN with prior authorizations for radiology scans and surgeries.
Assist RN with management of internal and external referrals.
