Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
We are working with an industry leading food manufacturer in the Seattle market seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost accounting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and a proven track record in managing financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in cost accounting, enabling them to drive cost-effective strategies and improve profitability.



Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Financial Planning and Analysis:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  
  
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  
  
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  
  
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Cost Accounting:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a robust cost accounting system.
  
  
  • Develop and analyze cost standards, variances, and profitability reports.
  
  
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  
  
  • Provide valuable insights into product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Financial Reporting:
  
  
  
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, including GAAP and regulatory standards.
  
  
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  
  
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity.
  
  
  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, investments, and risk management.
  
  
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
  
  
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor finance staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


• MBA or CPA preferred.


• Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.


• Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, budgeting software).


• Strong leadership and communication skills.
