Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).

  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.

  • Measures performance against process requirements.

  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.

  • Communicates team progress.

  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.

  • Develops, implements, and sustains process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies.

  • Develops solutions to unique issues Improves upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation.

  • Develop plans, layout, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layout.

  • Lead Kaizen events for material flow and space utilization improvement and ensure results.

  • Exposure managing complex projects thru project management tools, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

  • Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Able to influence change without direct authority.

  • Creates a sense of urgency to drive results.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Prepare and deliver of Capacity Analysis.

  • Leads the implementation and adherence of the continuous improvement initiatives, including but not limited to: Policy Deployment (Tiers), Kaizens, Gemba, 5S, problem-solving, and VSA.

  • Responsible for evaluating and designing, developing, or modifying programs for site related to metrics and visual management.

Must Have: minimum requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree

  • 2 years of relevant experience or advance degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have:


  • LSS Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).

  • Cost Down Knowledge

  • E xceptional presentation skills with multiple levels of the organization

  • Knowledge in Excel, Power Point, Visio, CAD, MS Project, Minitab, SPC, Statistical and Process Improvement Tools.

  • Experience in coaching, reviews and delegates work to lower-level specialist.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid financial acumen

  • Possesses a strong motivation and ability to achieve work goals and quantifiable business results.
