Salary Range: Market competitive - based on experience level.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and administers Psychological and/or Neuropsychological testing for Alzheimer's patients.
Explains testing procedures and objectives to subjects and works with subjects to facilitate compliance with protocol and procedures and to ensure appropriate test completion.
Times tests and records results; identifies extraordinary test results.
Provides observational summary which may include reference to patient/participant behavioral information, effort level, and degree of redirection required.
Assists in research through the systematic collection, preliminary analysis, and reporting of psychometric research data, using standard protocols.
Assists in scoring of selected tests within a Neuropsychological battery and in the administering and completing behavior rating scales, as appropriate.
Coordinates and communicates appointment times and venues for the testing of individuals or subject groups.
Ensures confidentiality of test results and recommendations; maintains security of testing materials.
Experience and Competency in the Following Scales:
A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field and at least one (1+) years of experience administering Psychological/Neuropsychological tests for Alzheimer's subjects is required.
Extensive experience administering the following assessment scales for Alzheimer's Patients: ADCS, ADL, MMSE2, ADAS-COG is required.
Knowledge of scientific research principles, practices, and protocols.
Ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner easily understood by non-technical personnel.
Working knowledge of Psychological and Behavioral test scoring protocol, procedures and standards.
Effective oral and communication skills.
Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports required.
Must have analytical, evaluative and critical thinking skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs.
