The Coordinator of Youth Programs is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing community education programs and courses for youth, including summer camps. This role focuses on expanding program offerings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and building revenue. Key duties include creating course descriptions and curricula, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and manages youth programs, expanding offerings based on trends and community needs.
Oversees summer camp operations and ensures regulatory compliance at all levels (college, county, state, federal).
Supervises and trains program instructors and staff.
Manages scheduling, marketing, and logistics for programs.
Monitors program budgets and handles state funding requests for eligible courses.
Maintains community outreach and relationships with vendors.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in youth program development and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Skills: Proficiency in Windows-based environments, familiarity with MS Teams, Zoom, and Microsoft 365, and strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to manage large databases and extract data for reporting.
