Job Summary:
As our ERP Data Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring our ERP system runs smoothly and efficiently. Your work will be crucial in maintaining data integrity and supporting new product offerings. If you're detail-oriented and love working with data, we want you on our team!
Primary Duties Include:
Input new part numbers and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
Create and update bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
Define and manage shop floor routings to optimize manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain rule-based product configurations to support custom orders.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the ERP system.
Collaborate with manufacturing and product development teams to support new product introductions.
Analyze and resolve data discrepancies and issues within the ERP system.
Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of ERP system enhancements and upgrades.
Provide training and support to end-users on ERP system functionalities.
Manage data between the ERP system and the web-based order system.
Ensure seamless data flow and accuracy between systems to support order processing and fulfillment.
Candidates should possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an ERP Data Specialist or similar role.
Familiarity with SQL and data querying tools.
Experience with ERP systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development cycles.
Strong understanding of enterprise ERP systems and data management principles.
Proficiency in inputting and managing part numbers, BOMs, and shop floor routings.
Experience with rule-based product configurations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
