CommIT is seeking a Logistics Analyst III in Quantico, VA, to provide technical support and expertise across our Logistics, Supply, Acquisition and Maintenance domains in support of the United States Marine Corps MCSC G-4. This position will require frequent customer engagement in order to understand and solve functional, business process and transactional issues; to support the accurate and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, specifically Requisition Management, receipt control and accountability, birthing of assets, redistribution of material, and maintaining a complete audit trail of documentation to ensure proper accountability to support internal/external audits and FSMAO Inspections. All daily work will be conducted within the policy and procedures defined by the Marine Corps and the policies and business process procedures defined by the MCSC G-4 to facilitate accountability in both retail and enterprise level inventory activities and individual units/accounts.
Provide technical expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, material and supply management.
Ability to facilitate accountability in retail and enterprise level inventory activities and units.
Ability to prepare, maintain and control essential supporting documentation to document major events in capital asset’s lifecycle from acquisition, transference, sub custody and final disposition and/or disposal in support of existence and completeness.
Document and Report (word document) your weekly tasks to provide visibility and insight into work volumes, accomplishments, risks and issues. Your direct reports will feed overall status reports, and allow your team leads and the government to produce metrics and drive efficiencies and continuous process improvement.
Be able to understand and fulfil the support needs of the client, work under pressure and time constraints to complete task and mission objectives, as part of a cohesive team.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:
Eight (8) years of professional experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; preferred
Must have intermediate knowledge of Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps in property management and requisition management

The Travel requirement is expected to be limited, it may include 1 or 2 people traveling for 3-5 days total duration. The average number of trips for each individual ranges between 1-2 annually. Locations could include Albany, GA. Tobyhanna, PA. Camp Pendelton, CA , Crane, IN. Charleston SC and Yuma AZ.
