Position Overview
The Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors to teach undergraduate courses that may include American Sign Language - SGNL 1010, 1020, 2040, 2050.
Minimum Qualifications
18 graduate hours in American Sign Language, Deaf Education, or similar degree program.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree with education, training, and experience in Sign Language, Interpretation, Deaf Education, or similar; or Ph.D.
