We are offering three openings in our Ag Mechanics program for the Fall and Spring semesters. This position is located at the William Harrell Building in the I45 Complex so you must have transportation. Will assist in laboratory maintenance, construction of laboratory equipment and laboratory organization. Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely and follow all safety protocols. Experience using oxygen fuel torch, welding equipment, hand tools, etc. are required. Work up to 20 hours per week.
Must be able to safely drive a truck, secure cargo, and pull a trailerMust be experienced in safely operating a forklift and hand truck/ pallet jackWill be required to operate an Oxygen Fuel Cutting torch, Gas Metal Arc Welding and Shielded Metal Arc Welding machine. Will clean and brush paint wood and metal objects.Will design and construct wood and metal objects. Will organize the laboratory and toolrooms
Must have valid driver's license
