onday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm and On call services -include weekend coverage
Work Location: University of Miami Hospital - Cardiovascular Imaging
The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist (U) uses ultrasound equipment to view and take pictures of patients' hearts and circulatory system. The incumbent also schedules and performs exams, takes patient histories, and reports results to physicians for interpretation and diagnosis. Further, the Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist (U) looks for abnormalities in blood flow sounds, heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, and the appearance of the heart.
