Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred
At least three years of customer service or sales administration experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably in plastics.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills; meets deadlines and follows through on commitments.
Proficient in basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percentages, and interpreting graphs.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily customer service for assigned accounts, including order processing, confirmations, and regular updates with purchasing agents and planners.
Prepare molding quotes for new projects, following standard procedures.
Coordinate budgets for major RFPs and assist with resin pricing and lead time inquiries.
Handle expediting requests by collaborating with manufacturing to improve response times and control costs.
Develop internal worksheets for molding and tooling quotes, and follow up on web-based quote inquiries.
Conduct cold calls and assess lead quality; review older quotes to confirm relevance.
Keep the CRM (SalesForce/IQMS) database updated as needed.
Support trade events, conferences, and plant visits for customers and prospects.
Generate internal sales orders for sample distributions and occasionally deliver samples as needed.
Manage Gantt charts, calculate material and labor requirements, and conduct time studies.
Prepare cost estimates for bids, vendor selection, and cost assessments; collaborate with management on P/L estimates.
Analyze project costs, identify trends, and suggest cost reduction improvements.
Maximize raw material use, explore cost-saving alternatives, and calculate utilization from 3D models.
Assist Sales with CRM marketing campaigns and projects.
