Position Summary:

We seek a seasoned Civil Engineering Project Manager - PE to join our team. You'll perform essential planning and design services in this role while managing team activities across various projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled engineer with a solid municipal and civil land development background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site plan design processes, from development to final review and oversight.
  • Attend municipal meetings and hearings, providing expert testimony as required.
  • Prepare technical project specifications and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as a primary client contact, collaborating with clients and stakeholders throughout project phases.
  • Prepare cost estimates to guide project budget and financial considerations.
  • Oversee design team activities, coordinating tasks to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Administer public bids for projects, ensuring clarity and fairness in the process.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with all required standards.
  • Evaluate, review, and test septic systems and soil conditions to ensure project suitability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in municipal/site/civil land development.
  • Proven experience as an expert witness for civil engineering projects.
  • BS in Civil Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in New Jersey is required; a Pennsylvania PE license is a plus.
  • NJ Certified Municipal Engineer (CME) certification is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of local, county, and state land use regulations.
  • High proficiency in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic and hydrologic analysis.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
