As a maintenance technician, you will repair heavy machinery, maintain electrical equipment, and control panels. Our environment supports innovation, taking the time to ensure proper route cause analysis, while utilizing standard and new approaches to create solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Always follow all required safety standards and procedures.

• Always follow required environmental standards and procedures.

• Must have a customer service-oriented approach to working with production.

• Repairs and maintains all facility machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance and problem-solving skills.

• Works with outside vendors and contractors to implement equipment and facility repair on an as needed basis.

• Utilizes analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to examine, repair and/or detect issues with machinery or equipment for repair.

• Inspects, observes, and examines mechanical devices in operation to determine root cause of problem and if necessary, dismantles or adjust devices to repair to specifications.

• Provides recommendations or modifications to processes and procedures and collaborates with other maintenance mechanics and automation technicians to increase machine efficiency & up time.

• Prioritize daily activities to ensure completion of responsibilities and to keep the facility running.

• Willing to work extra hours as required to finish repairs and put equipment back into service on occasion.

• Interpreting engineering blueprints

• Installing industrial machinery

• Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate the sources of problems and ensure the proper functioning of the machines.

• Troubleshooting engines, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic and electrical equipment.

• Removing defective components and replacing them with new components.

• Adjusting and calibrating machinery to improve productivity in partnership with automation technicians and engineering.

• Running basic diagnostic tests to detect minor problems.

• Disassembling machinery and equipment when needed.

• Cleaning and lubricating the equipment and machinery.

• Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.

• PM building and execution

• Competent computer skills and PLC knowledge.

• Clean up and put away tools, parts, etc., at the completion of each job.

• Collecting and summarizing analyses, activity logs, and trends for maintenance reports

• Previous maintenance experience with industrial production systems, plumbing, control systems, welding, fabrication, and hydraulic systems.

• Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time.

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Ability to operate standard shop equipment, Power/Hand Tools, Measuring Equipment and Test Equipment such as a voltmeter.

• Continuous Improvement mindset. Willing to be innovative and take a forward-thinking approach to problem solving.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Apprenticeship or associate degree preferred or certificate of training to demonstrate qualifications.

• 3-5 years minimum experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing.

• Must supply own tools/meter/lockable toolbox.

• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Schedule:

2-2-3, work 7 of 14 days with every other weekend off.

6pm-6am
