Summary



The Project Control Analyst - Lead oversees project control activities, ensuring that all projects deliverables are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This positions provides guidance and supports developing project plans, schedules, and budgets while implementing best practices in control processes.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Responsible for ensuring all assigned departments are adequately staffed, stay on task, and are actively working to accomplish their daily goals. Lead, mentor, and develops team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.


Supervises and manages a diverse team of contract employees across multiple departments, ensuring adequate staffing and task completion. Act as the alternate to the On-site Supervisor as required, stepping in to provide leadership and support.


Familiar with the daily processes and procedures of all assigned departments to effectively monitor and guide operations. Ensures that all departments meet their daily goals and stay on task.


Trains new employees and cross-train existing staff to ensure a versatile workforce knowledgeable in all operational areas. Keeps all employees updated on Government Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Assists with employee time sheets, maintain time requests, and manage pay period approvals to ensure accurate payroll processing. Participates in new hire interviews and support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.


Reports supply and equipment issues to the Contract Supervisor or Contracting Officer Representative (COR) as needed. Ensures that all assigned departments have the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their daily tasks effectively.


Provides a comprehensive overview of document handling, file management, call center, and mailroom activities for new contract employees. Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures across all departments.



EDUCATION



Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.



LANGUAGE SKILLS.


Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS



Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.



REASONING ABILITY



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
