Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor's degree in advertising, graphics art, design or related, field plus 3+ years' experience in advertising, design, art direction, or graphics arts; or combination of relevant education andexperience.
Minimum 18 years of age
Ability to pass drug test
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Maintain confidentiality
Accuracy/attention to detail
Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines
Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
Ability to show shape, proportion, and spatial relationship of elements via drawing
Proficient with In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Web browser, E-mail
Valid driver's license
Essential Job Functions:
Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
Direct creative solutions and visual effectiveness of all ads and collateral
Maintain creative continuity within all division work and verify that division work aligns with corporate formats and brand guidelines
Manage team workload
Communicate expectations and standards to photographers and stylists; review work to verify standards are met
Provide photo art direction and oversee photo shoots to create effective images within budget
Assist with training of designers
Communicate effectively and coordinate with department staff to produce effective advertising and collateral
Oversee review of layouts and finals for correctness and completeness
Work closely with copywriters in developing concepts and to produce finished work
Maintain knowledge about color reproduction
Maintain an awareness of retail advertising and collateral trends
Attend client meetings, as needed, to understand changes in strategic direction and new businesses
Prepare concepts and materials for presentation to the division
Provide feedback on the performance of creative production staff
Provide support, as needed, to team members or marketing staff
Create thumbnails online or manually
Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends on an occasional basis
