What We Are Looking For
3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions, is looking for a skilled and experienced Production Planner who schedules, plans, and coordinates the flow of work according to daily and weekly production schedules. They are responsible for executing all production planning activities, inventory control, and related issues such as on-time delivery.
What You Will Do
Production Scheduling: Create production schedule in Internal MRP systems and facilitate all Work in Process transactions.
Manage volume orders: by using the MRP system and customer forecasting coordinate with the Master Scheduler, post-processing, QC, and any outside processes required to produce the product. Send a PO confirmation to the customer and communicate delivery dates for all line items. Adjust schedules as customer priorities and resource availability change and communicate changes to the production floor.
Report Revenue: Report revenue generation weekly to the Production Planning Supervisor and Manager. This ensures products stay on track for quarterly revenue goals and that the proper resources are allocated to hit those goals.
Maintain all MRP parameters and jobs.
Use Oracle to audit and track revenue.
Utilizes activity data to prepare required weekly order reports.
Completes various projects as defined by the planning supervisor including data collection, charting data, and collecting tracking data to maintain and meet department goals and objectives.
System maintenance: Ensure current and accurate information regarding parts, suppliers, and shipment status in input and reflect in the installed ERP system.
Manage inventory flow of production parts and finished goods.
Notification of critical part shortages or non-conformances.
Monitors obsolete inventory optimizing utilization and reducing inventory write-offs.
Integrates all Engineering changes as necessary.
Interacts with the appropriate office or department to schedule, coordinate, and verify anticipated demand.
Success in this Role Requires
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
APICS CPIM preferred.
Established track record of related work experience handling multi-channel order fulfillment and customer accounts required.
Demonstrated production planning experience utilizing SAP or MRP systems preferred.
Oracle Experience preferred.
Inventory management experience preferred.
Familiarity with financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community; ability to effectively communicate with suppliers.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data).
In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
