General Description:
The Enterprise Applications and Cores Manager is accountable for overseeing the implementation, governance, and support of credit union enterprise software solutions related to software project delivery and operational support. This role involves managing projects from inception to production and collaborating with various business and technology groups. Responsibilities include roadmap planning, acting as a subject matter expert, and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
Tasks, Duties, Functions:
Oversee the entire software development lifecycle and operational support for enterprise software solutions.
Manage software application installations, upgrades, and configurations.
Lead a team of technical business analysts and subject matter experts.
Evaluate employees, conduct performance reviews, and manage career development.
Foster a positive work environment promoting skill development and positive morale.
Collaborate with product managers, vendors, and stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage development efforts.
Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for software enhancements.
Identify and mitigate risks to application availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve business application software issues 24/7.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
Stay updated on new software technologies and security best practices.
Participate in on-call support during off-hours, holidays, and weekends.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Agile certifications preferred.
Experience: Minimum of seven years in financial or health services, with experience in technical business analysis, application management, project management, product development, and process improvement. Four years of team leadership experience, preferably in a financial institution. Experience in an Agile environment or Azure ecosystem (DevOps) is highly desired.
