The PackerOperator focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis and examines production materials for processing. Operates all equipment and processes. Monitors machine parameters and troubleshoots processing problems.
SHIFT: 2nd shift - 2pm-10:30pm
LOCATION: Turlock, CA
PAY: $23.04
Weekends and Overtime as needed, may be required to be on-call in case of emergency.
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED
18 years or older
Must be able to work safely and use equipment in a safe manner
Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators
Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
Work in a collaborative team
Able to work in a dusty environment and in a cold/hot environment where temperatures can vary
Multi-task; work as a team player, work in a fast-paced environment with very high responsibilities
Required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
Comprehension: Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one's co-workers at all times without exception
Time Management: Showing up on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision
Active Learning: Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust to focus
Each day may require the completion of different duties or priorities with different skill sets or requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to repeatedly lift at least 55 pounds using safe lifting practices throughout shift
Not afraid of working heights greater than 5 feet - required
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
