Our Reception team members receive and respond to various inquiries from customers, providers, brokers, and others relating to customer service, benefits, claims, or enrollment in a cheerful and professional manner, while providing a wide variety of receptionist and security duties.
This customer and public-facing role requires an onsite presence in our Pocatello, Idaho district office.
We're seeking a Receptionist with:
Specific experience is not required; however, strong preference for 2/+ years customer service and reception experience within a professional office environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, software applications, and intranet/internet navigation
Problem solving and basic math skills
Superb social skills to diffuse, communicate with, and work closely with a variety of customers
Expertise in multitasking and balancing a diverse workload
Ability to respond and handle emergency situations, exercising sound judgment
Able to move or lift up to 50 pounds (team lift is recommended)
A preferred candidate would also have:
Knowledge of security and facilities principles, practices, techniques, and procedures, ideally to include certifications in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Adult External Defibrillator (AED) methods and procedure
Knowledge of patrol, investigation and identification techniques, along with safety and precautionary practices
Your day may look like:
Receiving, researching, and responding to telephone and walk-in inquiries with a friendly and professional manner while maintaining department and/or corporate performance guidelines for customer satisfaction. This may include interpreting the needs of individuals during telephone contacts and face-to-face situations, and establishing rapport consistent with the best interest of the company. The inquiries may relate to membership, billing and payments, and other customer requests as required.
You may need to interpret customer/vendor intent, then contact and coordinate appropriate internal personnel for assistance as needed. You'll also ensure accurate employee contact for contractors as needed, as well as inspect, receive and enter receipt of deliveries.
Our receptionists coordinate and ensure building access control by authorizing and/or escorting visitors and accurately issuing access badges. This includes monitoring buildings and grounds activities, effectively coordinating and responding to all building and security situations, system alarms, requests for security services and emergencies, and/or dispatch security officers as needed. Accurate electronic and written documentation related to daily security services and outcomes, as well as customer service/receptionist activity is essential.
You may also interpret and apply policy, procedures and guidelines as required and administer CPR, First Aid and AED as trained and requested, to ensure the safety of employees, members and others.
