Qualifications
RS&H is currently seeking a 3D Visualization Artist to join the RS&H Visualization team located in our Tampa, FL office.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational background in creating 3D visualizations, animations, and renderings for architectural and engineering projects. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating detailed 3D models and visualizations for a variety of AEC projects, including architecture, infrastructure, and urban planning.
Support the development of photorealistic renderings and animations to aid project presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver visual solutions that meet client expectations.
Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Autodesk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, & After Effects) to produce high-quality visual content.
Learn and apply new techniques and software advancements in 3D visualization.
Manage assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in 3D visualization technology and software.
Follow direction from senior visualization artists, and effectively communicate when issues arise.
Ensure quality and consistency meet project standards and specifications.
Maintain organized files, documentation, and version control for 3D assets and projects.
Communicate effectively with team members to deliver comprehensive project debriefings.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
Basic proficiency in 3D modeling, shader development, lighting, rendering, and camera animation.
Basic understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and design principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Basic knowledge of Autodesk 3ds Max and V-Ray.
Basic knowledge of post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
Familiarity of the Unreal Engine game engines for real-time rendering.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
Minimum seven years of experience working as a 3D visualization artist in the AEC industry, including internships or relevant coursework.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in 3D Visualization or related field preferred.
Must have a portfolio demonstrating foundational skills in creating photorealistic visualizations and animations.
