The Business License Coordinator will handle the preparation, filing and payment of business licenses and state registrations. This role is responsible for independently completing all necessary business licenses ("license") and annual reports for jurisdictions within ManpowerGroup's operations in the United States and Canada. These 600+ annual filings require either paper forms or online filing in addition to payment to the appropriate jurisdiction.
Making an Impact
• Gather and independently analyze each data element required to calculate the local license fee(s) and all specific documentation related to the application and renewal of the licenses.
• Work with the Real Estate team to determine any licensing requirements necessary for new and/or relocating offices for all brands.
• Monitor all renewals for licenses and complete filings in a timely manner.
• Independently review physical mail and other correspondence received from the IRS and local taxing jurisdictions to determine what action needs to be taken and properly route to the appropriate group/individual to complete.
• Obtains Certificates of Good Standing as may be requested on behalf of the various Manpower brands from the applicable state
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details

• Annual Reports
• Business Licenses
Daily Tasks:
• Track annual report filings in the "hCue" system and include the date of payment/mailing, the amount paid and the account unit charged.
• Maintain an electronic file for each report with any information necessary to calculate report fee(s) and all documentation related to report filing.
• Monitor email notices and requests for information submitted. Requests for information should be responded to within 1-2 business days.
• Co-ordinate with finance team, real estate, and other departments to collect data required to complete business licenses and annual reports.
