About the role:
As a Benefits Coordinator for TQL, you will help support the administration of company benefits with a heavy emphasis on leave processing. You will be responsible for becoming a subject-matter-expert on all benefit plans and be able to answer all inquiries to ensure we consistently provide world-class HR services throughout the company.

What you’ll be doing:
Administer leave of absence process within Workday, using critical thinking to recommend how leave issues should be addressed and administered in compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, and related communications.
Generate reports on leave trends and usage for HR leadership.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions regarding leave of absences and benefit enrollment questions.
Work alongside the Benefits team, and other HR staff to provide resolution to benefit related issues.
Clearly communicate benefit plans, changes and guidelines to new and current employees.
Assist with the new hire Benefits class.
Maintain confidentiality as it relates to Protected Health Information (PHI).
Follow processes and checklists to ensure time-sensitive documents are processed thoroughly and within the stated timeframes.
Audit monthly claims data from various vendors.
What you need:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
1-3 years of HR experience preferred
Microsoft Excel experience required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests effectively
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and see tasks through completion
