Here’s What You’ll Get To Do



  • Value Stream Mapping processes, time studies, leading Kaizen events, creating Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, develop: PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, and Job Element Sheets, conducting root cause analysis using 5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagram, A3 tools, New Product Introduction (NPI) validation, creating test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and perform statistical analysis.

  • Can use voice of the customer information to derive decision making. Has training and good understanding on the use of problem-solving tools (5-Why, Logic Tree, Cause & Effect diagram, A3, etc.) to determine root cause analysis and derive countermeasures.

  • An experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Ability to solve straightforward problems and has a rudimentary understanding of lean principles, quality systems, statistical tools and procedures.  Leading the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to continually improve processes.

  • Understands key business drivers, uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

  • Has training in lean six sigma tools/concepts and quality management tools.

  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies. Can lead projects with managerial support.

  • Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations. Positive attitude, capable of leading training events and periodically conducts public speaking.

  • (Excel), Visio, Minitab and company ERP system.

  • Leads continuous improvement within business processes, new product development projects, supplier improvement efforts, &/or customer/product issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review on a variety of factors.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Networks with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.


Here’s What We’re Looking For



  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering) or equivalent experience. 3+ years related experience and/or training.

  • ≥3 years’ experience and knowledge in Toyota Production Systems, mechanical &/or manufacturing processes, an understanding of drawings, specifications and standards, familiarity with machined parts and their manufacturing processes, and a background of continuous improvement.

  • ISO-9000 &/or TS-16949 Quality System experience beneficial.

  • Demonstrates a limited understanding of general business principles. Has little or no direct relevant business management experience and basic knowledge on the impact of Cost of Quality.

  • CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
