Summary:
The Senior Sales Coach provides ongoing training and coaching to Call Center Loan Advisors. The position is designed to help create an atmosphere of continuous performance development within the Call Center and ensures the Mission of Sales Development is being carried through the team’s initiatives. This individual will assist with training First Flyers, Fast Trackers, and Licensed New Hires. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of communication skills, training experience, and mortgage sales experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Train Loan Advisors on Freedom’s systems, processes and procedures, sales scripts, compliance, and customer service skills.
Collaborate with Program Management and Site Leaders to seamlessly integrate new Loan Advisors to the Sales Floor.
Manage First Flyer and Fast Track Loan Advisors during their production phase.
Conduct sales call reviews and live call coaching for Loan Advisors.
Conduct QA coaching sessions around call compliance.
Distribute production reporting amongst Loan Advisors to provide visibility and expectations.
Provide progress updates to Sales Leaders when transitioning Loan Advisors to the Sales Floor.
Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of all Call Center products and processes.
Develop training materials for coaching sessions and classroom presentations.
Report to the Manager of Sales Development. Work collaboratively with all team members of Sales Development to help execute the Mission Statement.
Apply sales knowledge to develop innovative scripts, process flows, and new sales techniques that will have a significant positive impact to the Call Center.
Provide assistance to Call Center initiatives and pilots.
Lead by example and assists with onboarding new Sr. Sales Coaches.
Performs other job duties as required.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from a college or university; and/or 1+ year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three (3) years Mortgage Sales Experience or related training experience.
Self-starter, goal-oriented professional who is focused on providing the highest level of customer service.
Ability to obtain state mortgage originator licenses through process of completing necessary educational requirements and passing the state mandated tests.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects while utilizing attention to detail.
Flexibility with daily operations and initiatives.
Ability to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
Strong negotiation, time management, and organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills with ability to learn loan origination system and automated underwriting systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Ability to obtain National and State Licensing through the NMLS preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond effectively to most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
