Summary
The Specialist I, Doc Mgmt will oversee the process of imaging loan documents into the Freedom Mortgage Electronic Document Management System.
Essential Job Functions:
Sort incoming mail
Review documents for accuracy, update system with received information
Scan images and process for automated indexing
Sort and prepare documents for shipping
Create and manage reports
Filing and organizing stored documents
Assist with special projects, as needed
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Other Related Duties:
Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, one years of related experience is preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graph.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Customer Service Relationships:
Assesses and diffuses problem situations and requires influencing others to reach consensus. Requires tact and diplomacy to handle difficult customer relationships. Explores alternatives and creative solutions to meeting the needs of customers.
Work Complexity:
Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes. Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents.
Work Environment:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
