Human Resources - Intern at Lakeside Book Company in Crawfordsville, Indiana

Job Description:

Starting Rate: $20.00 per hour

Work Hours: Part time, up to 40 hours on Day shift

Location: South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

As a Human Resources Intern, you will:

• Assist with the HR team in a variety of projects/tasks that will cover a broad set of HR disciplines including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition
• Participate in the onboarding of new employees.
• Opportunity to work across the HR department to gain a broad understanding of the different specialties and functions within HR
• Analyze data, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
• Support system improvements and assist in investigating, resolving and/or escalating HRIS issues
• Assist on HR special projects

Qualifications:

• Comfortable using the Google platform - Gmail; Google drive; Google folders for collaboration
• Strong PC skills - MS Word; Power Point; Excel
• Open mind - able to share new ideas
• Positive attitude and eager to learn
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow direction required.
• Project and task management skills preferred.
• Human Resources or Business Management degree student preferred.
