Responsibilities:
Inspect parts, assemblies, and materials for compliance with requirements, conduct real-time defect evaluations, and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented to support high-quality mission-critical systems.
Inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
Perform real-time defect evaluation and document findings.
Operate and monitor automated test equipment for quality assurance.
Prepare QA documentation, verify corrective actions, and oversee rework processes.
Interface with coworkers, internal customers, and suppliers to communicate quality concerns and resolutions.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
Certifications: Familiarity with J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, and X-Ray qualification (as needed).
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Experience setting up electronic and mechanical test configurations and using mechanical measurement tools.
