Senior Advanced Quality Inspector




Scottsdale, AZ




Contract Position




$30.68-$35.68/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts, assemblies, and materials for compliance with requirements, conduct real-time defect evaluations, and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented to support high-quality mission-critical systems.


• Inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.


• Perform real-time defect evaluation and document findings.


• Operate and monitor automated test equipment for quality assurance.


• Prepare QA documentation, verify corrective actions, and oversee rework processes.


• Interface with coworkers, internal customers, and suppliers to communicate quality concerns and resolutions.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.


• 
  Experience: Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience in quality inspection or a similar role.


• 
  Certifications: Familiarity with J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, and X-Ray qualification (as needed).


• 
  Skills & Knowledge:
  
  
  
  • Strong understanding of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
  
  
  • Experience setting up electronic and mechanical test configurations and using mechanical measurement tools.
