This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Program and Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance through cross-functional integration.
Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules, validating resource allocation, budget, and flow for program execution.
Provide time-phased critical path analysis and predictive planning data to address programmatic execution conflicts.
Track, monitor, and report on program commitments, ensuring alignment across all schedules and program artifacts.
Prepare planning documentation for solicitation responses and interface with program management, senior leadership, and customers.
Perform schedule risk assessments and integrate risks and opportunities with cost and schedule baselines.
Utilize performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in program execution.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of planning/scheduling experience.
Experience with Earned Value Management.
Ability to perform critical path and risk analyses.
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple disciplines.
Thrives in fast-paced environments with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Company is preferred.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro.
Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of spacecraft/satellite programs.
Experience in cost/schedule integration and Program Performance Management.
Previous team lead experience with strong follow-up and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in integrated teams.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management skills.
