Who We Are:


SwRI Security Team member. This office provides a range of security capabilities to include physical, personnel, and information systems security.


Objectives of this Role:

• Control personnel and vehicle access on to the Institute.


• Operate visitor management system.


• Conduct checks of identification credentials to validate authenticity.


• Conduct searches under the direct supervision of management.


• Assist Physical Security Supervisor with Security Control Center operations.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Check individual credentials against access control lists.


• Identify unauthorized credentials.


• Control vehicle traffic flow.

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.


• Eligibility to receive a security clearance is required.


• Shift work required.


• 2-5 years: Access and traffic control.


• A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:


Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
