Job Summary:
The Host & Office Coordinator assists the Food & Nutrition Services leaders (FNS) to establish, monitor, analyze, and improve the operations of FNS. This position provides administrative support and analysis regarding purchases, business & operational analysis, the monitoring of food service metrics, patient menu implementation and analysis, and leads change either through committees or by implementing new processes. This role ensures consistent communication and streamlined processes throughout the system to implement change, improve quality, communicate new policies, and serves as the representative of the department. Maintains the FNS office computer system including troubleshooting system issues and participates in projects related to the system. This position can step in to lead the daily huddle in the absence of the manager or supervisor and coordinates operations of food service which includes catering, floor supplies, and the patient food line.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Hospital Food Service experience is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree is preferred.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
CBORD Training to Comply with Access Privileges completed within 90 days of employment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
