We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various labor tasks to ensure a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This role involves assisting with renovations, new construction, and various maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist carpenters with renovation projects and new construction tasks.
  • Support the repair, replacement, and construction of concrete walks, curbs, and roads.
  • Aid in the demolition of walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures.
  • Participate in initial landscaping efforts for new landscape areas.
  • Conduct ditching and trenching activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with the transportation and setup of materials and equipment on job sites.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:00 am -3:30pm

Typical Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Successful completion of a recognized laborer apprenticeship program or (4) years (48 months) of work experience as a Journeyworker
