Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment, maintaining accuracy and meeting payment deadlines.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in monthly bank reconciliations, comparing and balancing financial transactions to support the monthly closing process.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Aid in monitoring accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding accounts.
Expense Reports: Assist with the preparation and verification of employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
File and Document Management: Maintain organized digital and physical records of all financial documents for easy retrieval and reference.
Support Month-End Closing: Participate in month-end closing tasks by gathering necessary information and assisting with report preparation.
Assist with Audits: Support the finance team by providing documentation and information during audits as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and software; experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
