Chiller Attendant



This position is responsible for maintaining the temperature, chemical balance and bird flow in the chillers. This position will also assist with other operations and duties. At the beginning of each day, the Chiller Attendant will fill the chiller with water, chemically balance the water and then verify that proper procedures are followed.


The Chiller Attendant is also responsible for maintaining the proper water temperature and product flow through the chiller.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


This position is responsible for maintaining the temperature, chemical balance and bird flow in the chillers. This position will also assist with other operations and duties. At the beginning of each day, the Chiller Attendant will fill the chiller with water, chemically balance the water and then verify the proper parts per million. The Chiller Attendant is also responsible for maintaining the proper water temperature and product flow through the chiller with gauges , faucets and taking temperature.


II. REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB


Must be able to climb stairs to get to and from work areas Must be able to tolerate walking, standing for duration of shift Must be able to use hands, lifting, bending, twisting Must be able to use knives and scissors if required Lift on an as needed basis Must be able to communicate with Upper Management Must be able to work on tablets for data entry
