SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the evaluation of every pedigree candidate for breast meat yield and dimensional analysis by use of ultrasound. Responsibilities include: evaluation of every pedigree candidate for skeletal deformities by the use of x-ray equipment to insure the pedigree breeders are free of skeletal deformities; transport and maintain the ultrasound computer, ultrasound machine and x-ray unit; evaluate breast meat yield and dimensional analysis; evaluate skeletal deformities; perform necropsy on pedigree candidates found to be defective to confirm the defect. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Requires knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment and business practices. Knowledge is normally acquired by four years of high school, a vocational school or equivalent. Experience:,,1+ years of experience. Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Specialized Skills: Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results and coordinating with others.
