Business process engineers focus on optimization and continuous improvement opportunities within approved automation projects. They are responsible for ensuring processes are streamlined prior to design creation. Resources must be able to design scalable, automated, solutions and have a passion for creating change through process optimization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Business teams to build Process Design Documents (PDD) requirements documentation
Understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
Support existing automations/processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
Help to deliver process automations to drive successful adoption and increase consumption of the RPA products
Gather project requirements for and supporting integration with partner products
Gather and analyze existing business and process details
Conduct process observations and auditing activities
Analyze business processes to suggest process improvements and develop RPA solutions around them
Present new improvement opportunities to stakeholders and management
Learn and utilize exciting new technologies and how they integrate with existing automation products
Facilitate forecasting the future state business performance with the business design and contrast it to the current state
Provide input to and validate technical design process model or initial operational models
Provide input to business procedures, work instructions, job aids, and training materials
Help to define the business cases, guides chartering, apply proper project management techniques, and collect customer feedback during project lifecycles
Develop and manage project plans through-out project lifecycle; includes prioritization, risk mitigation and monitoring progress
Provide constant, ongoing communications to ensure obstacles to business process improvement are removed and necessary support is always provided
Monitor and control future state process performance, verifies benefits, completes project summary, completes closing activities, and effectively concludes the work
Understand all aspects of the project to run and can support unit and full testing with impacted applications
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
