What will you be doing?



The Consumer and Shopper Insights Analyst will occupy a position central to the success of Circana's OmniConsumer solutions with one of Circana's top manufacturer clients.



Job Responsibilities



To be successful as a CSI Analyst you must possess and be able to execute upon several key responsibilities and skill sets:


  • Core Responsibilities:

    • Leverage value from Circana's best-in-class OmniConsumer solutions, including Scan Panel, Receipt Panel, eCommerce and Consumer/Shopper Targeting solutions, to drive ROI for the client based on these critical investments

    • Track and organize multiple work streams against multiple client stakeholders, and manage time and resources against changing priorities



  • Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for the client.

    • Approach client and prospects with coherent, actionable and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs

    • Continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client

    • Identify business issues and opportunities and suggest the appropriate level analytic solution/approach



  • Client Focus: Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met:

    • Build strong relationships with Insights, Sales, and eCommerce teams to support OmniChannel business initiatives

    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements

    • Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship



  • Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of the business, industry and domain to identify, create and close business opportunities:

    • Identify, develop, and deliver on prospective client business opportunities. Engage a cross functional Circana team to develop and deliver.






Requirements





  • 3+ years of retail or CPG experience or a high degree of passion and comfort with the retail and CPG manufacturer space.

  • Experience with consumer panel data or customer data is required; experience in survey/segmentation, market structure and testing methodologies is a plus.

  • Experience may be gained in one or more of the environments below:

    • CPG manufacturer

    • Market Research

    • Retail

    • Top-tier consulting firn

    • CRM-oriented software firm




  • Strong analytical skills, linking client business issues to analysis and the ability to mine analytical results for insights.

  • Ability to craft a compelling story based on the analytical insights and good presentation skills are key requirements.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail and follow up, high quality standards, timeliness and accuracy across project milestones.

  • Proven skills to maintain focus and poise amidst concurrent and competing priorities.

  • Strong client engagement skills and proactive business development to create value for our client, uncovering opportunities for growth.

  • Expert in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Proven curiosity and skills to acquire, assimilate and new information with little direction

  • Skilled at presenting technical subject matter to non-technical audiences; excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability/drive to make decisions with conviction in ambiguous and fast-moving environments

  • Undergraduate degree is required

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote + commutable to Camden, NJ


The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000.
