Great opportunity for someone that is looking for a flexible work from home Accounting position. Currently the hours are part time with the potential to grow.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years experience with bookkeeping duties, 5 years general work/business experience
Education in Accounting or Business related field preferred
Experience working with Core (a BQE product) a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new programs easily
Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
Eye for detail
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Strong communicator
Team player
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Post daily accounting activities within Accounting System
Create and post invoices in project management system
Accounts Payable – post vendor invoices and payments
Follow up with Program Managers on outstanding Accounts receivables
Assist with set-up of new projects in Company Project Management System
Assist with month end account closing and monthly financial prep
Process checks, wires, and bank deposits
Verify, track and record employee expenses on a job specific basis
Track/provide reports on job profitability
Enter credit card transactions into accounting system.
Other accounting responsibilities as they come up.
REQUIREMENTS:
We anticipate hours being in the 15-20 hour range initially, with the potential of this to grow to 30-40 range over time.
Must be able to work some hours during the normal business hours (8-5 pm) to allow for team meetings
The company is an international company with Employees worldwide. Therefore occasional meetings outside of typical business hours will be required.
Work is cyclical - where some weeks are busier than others based on month end requirements.
