This position will be responsible for supporting measurement, compression, automation and general pipeline engineering design related tasks.Minimum requirements:
Education:
High School diploma
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
A minimum of ten (10) years direct work experience in piping design.
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Oil and Gas facility design.
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in CADWorx and AutoCAD.
Proficient in Industry Codes and standards.
Proficiency in Navisworks.
Knowledge of Autodesk Vault Professional or other document management application.
Understands material nomenclature, specifications and symbols for P&IDs, Piping, Structural, Electrical etc.
Experience with raster editing software.
Knowledge of industry codes/standards not limited to B31.4, B31.8, B31.3.
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit reports for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:
Experience developing/designing drawing packages for compressor stations, measurement stations and pipeline appurtenances for natural gas and crude oil facilities.
Experience specifying pipeline appurtenances such as pipe, valves, flanges, fittings, etc.
Demonstrated experience with mechanical and process piping preferred.
Knowledge of Hexagon Sdx or a plant life cycle management application
Working experience of Maximo or other asset integrity application.
Working experience of Intergraph Smartplant SPPID

Compensation $78,500 - $95,500Essential duties and responsibilities
Support various Engineering design, project and documentation efforts.
Provide internal and external design/engineering support.
Maintenance of drawings database per company standards.
Develops drawings and models (2D/3D) for various disciplines: Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Structural and several other CAD/CAM related design build drafting design.
Utilizes the latest versions of AutoCAD related products.
Conducts quality control reviews of drawings, drawing packages, and material lists in accordance to company standards.
Coordinate between customers, engineering firms and internal resources to communicate and enforce company drafting/design standards and verify compliance.
Develops BOM/material lists for project drawings.
Development of as-built drawings from field redlines.
Determine, document and enforce best methods for xref/attachment and NCS layer conventions.
Generate rough sketches, or schematics to develop engineering concepts into visual designs.
Coordinate and participate in P&ID walkthroughs, design reviews, site inspections, and progress meetings.
Create layouts/designs utilizing company specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, line lists and supplier information.
Collaborate with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
