Johnsonville, LLC Formulation Technician Backup Formulation Operator 2nd Shift Pay Range: $26.64/hr - $27.93/hr + Additional $.60/hr upon backup result block completion + $1.50 Shift Premium Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm, Monday-Friday(Overtime as production demands) Responsibilities:

• Consistently manufacture "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications
• Work together with other Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies. Ensure that meat inventory and usage is maintained to the highest standards
• Complete daily inventory on raw and pre-blended meat.
• Grinding and analyzing samples
• Monitor finished fat percentages
• Complete working knowledge of the Bestmix/Procision system.
• Work closely with scheduling on meat usage.
• Work with purchasing on fat percent acceptability
• Operating a fork-lift
• Grind / analyzing samples
• Generate Batch tickets.
• Maintain inventory on fresh and cured meats
• Washing lab equipment
• Perform all Formulation duties

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to cross-train in your position at both Riverside and Meadowside facilities
• Successful completion of all Lab Technician Skill Blocks within a twelve month period.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong math background is required
• Must be willing to be a Team Player with Formulation on inventory control of fresh and pre-blended materials
• Must be able to learn how to use Best mix to formulate product
• Must be able to complete paperwork accurately
• Must be detail oriented.
