About C2BMC: The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is the integrating element of the Missile Defense System. It enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders to plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor the battle, and manage networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability, optimizing responses to threats in all phases of flight. It integrates and synchronizes autonomous sensor and weapon systems globally and regionally, enhancing performance. C2BMC is crucial for system ground and flight tests, verifying current and future missile defense capabilities.
Experience Required:
Active Linux certification
Active CCNA
Active Red Hat Certified Expert (RHCE)
Familiarity with HP C7000 configuration, update, and management
Familiarity with HP OneView
Top Secret Clearance
Prior C2BMC experience
Experience in developing KPIs, tracking metrics, and creating reports
Position Responsibilities:
Role Description:
Serve as the Network DE Manager
Coordinate all DE activities and manage day-to-day operations
Maintain the dynamic status of the DE
Report DE status to ART leadership monthly
Perform System Engineer duties and maintain DE security posture
Work within an agile team, planning work based on customer requirements and program agreements
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and present KPIs and other metrics related to the Network Enterprise
Extensive experience with computer hardware and databases
Oversee large amounts of computer information via servers and networking appliances
Manage equipment maintenance, inventory, customer service, and shared environments
Perform equipment maintenance tasks, including patching, custom upgrades, replacing cables, components, and accessories
Maintain records and draw schematics of the center detailing installed equipment
Schedule downtime, plan for capacity changes, maintain corporate databases, and ensure compliance with regulations
Support customer and organizational tours
Solve complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity
Work independently and in project leadership roles, representing the organization on significant technical matters

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years with a related Master's degree; or 4 years with a related PhD
Ability to travel for job duties, including deployments
Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
Collaborative team player and independent worker on large field projects
Experienced with Linux system administration, backup and recovery, STIGs, Linux scripting (Python, Ansible), Ansible playbook development, Multi-Factor Authentication implementation, Red Hat, NetApp OnTap, and VMware vSphere 8
