Location: St. Louis, MO

Description: Our client is currently seeking a BH Care Manager I

Temp will support the afterhours BH Unit - team manages all business (commercial, Federal, Medicare and Medicaid business) after hours Reviews are only for initial inpatient psychiatric or residential admission/substance abuse


Hours/Schedules: Weekend and afterhours are required. Hours begin at 4pm CT during the week and go through 7am CT, weekend is Friday - 4pm CT through Monday at 7am CT Team works off a 6-week schedule, and all team members must work 3 weekends (out of the 6) Staffing is typically three 12 hour shifts / some do four 10hr shifts


Production requirement: Expectation is to be as productive as possible, working on phone and faxes - average about 18-25 cases


Skillsets/Requirements/Background:


Experience in UM or UR from Hospital/facility side (will be gathering initial assessment/info from facility so previous experience with that is ideal) Strong computer skills is required (will work out of several systems) Experience/Knowledge of MS Teams/Excel/Word Ability to work on both phone and computer at the same time Licensed BH professional required (review license requirements on job posting - all are acceptable except LBA)


Training: Trainer will train on systems (about 2-weeks - day hours) and then once systems training is complete they will transition to afterhours schedule and will partner with clinician to provide training on different areas of business


Location - open to anywhere but will work CT hours
