Volt is immediately hiring Medical Collections Specialist/Medical Billing Specialist in Livermore, CA 94550
As a Medical Collections Specialist/Medical Billing Specialist, you will:
2-3 years of office experience in medical billing / collections required
Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) and understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles and denial codes.
Serve as the liaison between insurance companies, patients and the departments;
Ensure claims are processed and followed up to meet company goals of account receivable days, aging account percentages and cash goals;
Research and answer all questions and complaints, regarding patient responsibility balances and billing inquiries sent to them through the customer call center with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
Attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize independently
Proficient customer service skills
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.
Pay Rate: $24 - $25 per hour.
